Can You Get Enough Sleep During Pregnancy?

Carrying a child is the most wonderful thing in the world. It is a period of excitement, anticipation, joy, but also fear and anxiety. Hormones go crazy during this period, and women often find themselves facing mood swings. Although it can be a difficult experience initially, you will get used to it over time. Unusual food cravings are also associated with pregnancy. Unfortunately, so is sleep deprivation.

Getting enough sleep during the night becomes more and more difficult as the pregnancy progresses. Mothers-to-be often sacrifice sleep for their new child. Pregnancy is quite exhausting, and future moms are desperately craving for getting enough rest at night. However, they usually don’t get it, especially when they need it the most. In these situations, pregnant women often find themselves lying awake for hours, trying to fall asleep.
